We like to think of ourselves as free, but that's impossible, so we customize our slavery.

No Fear

The spikes on my head put Godzilla to shame
Shaking your eardrums and father's to blame

Wearing my pants in a long daring droop
Don't have to drop them when taking a poop

Got a skinny new cell phone to call up my dealer
And a big black truck that I call a four-wheeler

Rumbling the condos on the way to a rave
Living just long enough to spit on your grave

When I get married the theme "song" is rap
Snoop Doggy Dog just spewing his crap

If you don't like it, just call up my dad
Got more money than you'll ever have

My sisters are steps on the stairway to heaven
Most of my meals are Seven Eleven

My skateboard will drive you out of your mind
Don't like all the noise? Then kiss my behind

Parental guidance is a system of oppression
Step into my booth, I'll hear your confession

I'm not a rebel in the usual sense
Just a leisure class deadbeat and major expense

got most of the networks just kissing my tush
To hell with the neighbors and president Bush

Who needs a job like those illegal slobs?
My parents avoid me, I think they are snobs

I'm into white power for as long as it lasts
My spray can diplomacy is really a blast

Why don't you just get out of my face?
I've got the jump on the whole human race

I'm prowling the roads and drunk to the gills
'Cause mama and daddy are footing the bills

When the baby arrives they'll take up the slack
For the rest of their lives I'll be on their backs

Give and Take

The takers never tire of taking but the givers always will
Then the disillusionment's swallowed like an icky little pill

The taker will grimace and blame the giver's pride
But the truth is an ugly mess far too obvious to hide

So the taker moves on to another needy soul
While surveying prospective places to dig another hole

To put the tawdry manuscript of unrequited love
But the preface is presented from the starry skies above

The givers are never what the taker really wants
The evidence lies in cold incessant taunt

Taker on taker is a condition to deplore
Givers together can sustain so much more

It's this truth eternal disclosing every deal
Grinding unsuspecting givers under heavy iron wheels

The compromise is the taker's secret bane
Reluctant morsels thrown from the swiftly moving train

Some say it's better to have given than receive
And that's an ancient axiom that takers can believe

First Installment: Troll Terror

Princess Diana has finally talked me into starting a "blog." She seems to think I'm a wellspring of creative material. My goal is to exchange ideas, images and music with other interested parties.

I am always on the prowl for good movie tips, three of my favorites are Red, Blue and Double Life of Veronique by Kieslowski. I have traveled to Greece, Rome, Turkey and Ethiopia in the late sixties. I am interested in problem solving via networking and brainstorming. One of my favorite quotes comes from J. Krishnamurti: we are trapped by the idea of escape.

The image shown above was created in Photoshop and I have a strong passion for image manipulation. I have trouble with my eyes, the tears are inconsistent and no known therapy or surgery can resolve the problem, so I get headaches (shown in the Troll image above) if I try to read font sizes below 20. I am shown in a straight jacket to symbolize my acute awareness of a strong conflict with conditioned existence in a world of incessant influences by mass media.

Transmogrifer's tidbit: People used to build structures to protect themselves from the environment, now we build them to protect the environment from us.
